Read this article carefully and find out more information’s such as features, specs, and price of Tata Nano Twist.

 Introduction

Tata motors introduced Tata Nano in 2008 which is also known as the one- lakh car. This is the world's cheapest car which is now available in the market. It priced Rs. One lack in Indian market and that’s why it is know as one-lack car. This car attained great success because of the media attention and its price. This car mainly introduced for middle class people who are looking for budget range cars. Tata motors designed this car which can be used perfectly by a nuclear family. It also got an impressive mileage of 25 kmpl. After the release of Tata Nano more people moved towards this vehicle from motor bikes. Due to its huge demand in the market only the very customers were able to purchase the car at that price. A lot of customers waited for more than one year to purchase this vehicle and during that time the company forced to increase the price tag of this vehicle because of the rising material costs and workers wages. The simple dashboard and engine trunk which is only accessible from inside played a major role in price reduction. They also removed/limited to some features like power steering, air bag, three lug nut son the wheels instead of the four, air conditioning, 624cc rear engine with only 2 cylinders to reduce the price tag. But after 2010 they noticed a huge decrease in the sales of Tata Nano and that's why they introduced a new vehicle from the same species named Tata Nano Twist at Delhi Auto Expo in 2014. This new car comes with minor modifications from its predecessor. Now Tata motor's is trying to give a new look for its economy class vehicle and the new models unveiled at the Delhi Auto Expo is only a first step towards that goal.

Key Impressions

Tata Nano Twist comes with a great change in the front look. The front portion is set with a wider smiling grille with a light catcher. The power steering (Electric Power Assisted Steering) is another key feature of this vehicle which lacks in Tata Nano. The remote keyless entry will give a premium touch for this vehicle and this feature is very new for this kind of budget cars. The interior is designed with new range of colors, LED fuel gauge and coolant temperature gauges. Four speed manual transmission and drum brake system are same as predecessor. The open-able tailgate is a new feature which is not available for any of the cars in these species. Nano cars are well known for its compact size and that's why these are perfect in Indian roads. Smallest turning radius and smallest size makes it perfect to control and drive in city traffic conditions.

Advantages of Nano Twist over Tata Nano

When we compare both these vehicles the new one Tata Nano Twist got a lot of impressive features than it's predecessor and it's much more costly than the old one. Both these cars have a lot of features in common. However Nano Twist is bundled with a lot of new features such as keyless remote entry, power steering, open-able hatch in the rear side, good looking dashboard with wide range of colors, a new impressive front look, etc. Because of the improvements in it's features company forced to increase the price tag of this vehicle more than double of it's predecessor Tata Nano.
